FORT LEE, VA – The Virginia Union University golf team placed 6^th at the CIAA Golf Championships held at the Cardinal Club in Fort Lee, VA. The Panthers posted an overall score of 780 (+204) in the two day event.   VUU was led by Cory Claytor who finished 16^th overall, posting a total individual score of 157 (+13). Teammate Fred Amy finished 6 spots behind Claytor with a total individual score of 173 (+29).  Virginia State was crowned the 2008 CIAA Golf Tournament Champions. A complete list of Virginia Union University participants and their scores are listed below:
